Aflatoxin Policy

Lincolnland Agri-Energy, LLC has adopted a zero tolerance policy regarding corn that contains aflatoxin. 

Aflatoxin adversely affects the performance of yeast in fermentation and creates a risk to animals when present in DDGS, wet cake, and syrup.  

To help ensure end products will be aflatoxin free, all loads of corn are subject to black light aflatoxin screening. 

If any suspicious amount is found, the sample will be subjected to further testing performed by a Lincolnland lab technician.  The truckload in question will be required to stand by until results are obtained.  If lab tests are positive, the load will be rejected.  If tests are negative, the load will be accepted and can be dumped.
